2010 Racing Rules

THIS YEAR THERE’LL BE RACES HELD AT: 

CAMDEN MOTOR SPEEDWAY, INDIAN MOUND,  WAVERLY & DOVER 

ALL RULES WILL BE THE SAME AT EVERY RACE IN 2010.

 

SILLS OFF ROAD RACING

2010 GENERAL RULES

 

 1)      Absolutely No alcoholic beverages, driver is responsible for himself and his crew.

2)      If you are caught drinking you will be told to leave the race & no refund of money.

3)      Misconduct or rule violations by anyone will not be tolerated.

4)      The event official will have the final decision on any and all questions.

5)      Only the driver of signature is qualified to make the run, unless the event official approves a substitute.

6)      If driver is under the age of 16 must have parent’s signature.

7)      When the class is called you have three minutes to begin pre-staging.

a.       When the car is vehicle is called you have three minutes to get staged.

8)      If you are going to be LATE you or someone you designate must contact the event official before registration deadline to qualify to race. An official will draw your number.

9)      Each class will draw a number just before that class will run. There will be no late entry once the numbers have been issued.

10)   Enter vehicles as many times as you want too, one payout per vehicle per class.

11)   Top 3 vehicles in all classes will be checked---before payout if found illegal will be disqualified no money return, next man will move up.

12)   A rigid rear pull out ring or ball is mandatory for all classes.

13)   Helmets and seatbelts are mandatory in all classes.

14)   Batteries must have marine type boxes if inside vehicle.

15)   Absolutely nothing to do with Nitrous; this means no lines, plates or bracket.

16)   All vehicles must be pulled out backwards.

17)   Smaller tire class can move up classes.

18)   No one other than the EVENT STAFF are allowed at the timekeepers area.

19)   Last post at end of pit race is over. YOU MUST STOP

20)   All Trucks must be determined safe by the Event Staff.

21)   10 or more trucks have to enter the class for guaranteed money.

 Super Stock Class---Speed Pit

Tire size up to 33” DOT, No Cut tires 

1.       Factory body, frame and fenders may be cut no more than 3” to get clearance of the tires.

2.       Absolutely no altering or gutting in any other form.

3.       Nets can be used in place of tailgate.

4.       No S10 or cars on 4x4 drive frames.

5.       Single carburetor NO aftermarket fuel injection (factory fuel injection only).

6.       Headers are OK (Downward only)

7.       Lift Kits are OK.

8.       Aluminum intakes are OK.

9.       NO aluminum heads.

10.   After market cams OK.

11.   Body frame engine must match (Ford & Ford) (Chevy & Chevy) and so on.

12.   Soft-top vehicles must have roll bar or cage.

13.   Seatbelts and helmets are required.

14.   You must make an attempt to make the 1st pass.

15.   All safety and general rules apply to all classes.

16.   No Alcohol or NOS pump gas only.

17.   Trans brake allowed with trans shield.

18.   Fire Extinguisher (required)

19.   Speed Pit 18” or less (100 ft to 150 ft)

20.   After market fuel cell can be mounted in rear.

21.   A rigid rear pull out ring is required. 

 

Pro Stock Speed Pit

Tire size up to 38.5” DOT (NO Cut Tires) 

1.       Factory body, frame and fenders may be cut no more than 6” to get clearance of tires.

2.       Minor altering or gutting of the body to make tires fit OK.

3.       Body may be put on 4x4 frames, S10, Jeep and so on.

4.       Nets may be used in place of tailgates.

5.       Single carburetor no aftermarket fuel injection (factory fuel injection only).

6.       Up or downward headers (only).

7.       Aluminum heads and intakes are OK.

8.       After market roller cams are OK.

9.       Soft-top vehicles must have roll bars preferable roll cage.

10.   Suspension factory type lift kits and traction bars are OK must be non-adjustable.

11.   Must make an attempt  to make 1st pass.

12.   Must have 4 point seatbelt and helmets.

13.   Aftermarket fuel cell can be mounted in rear.

14.   All safety and general rules apply to all classes.

15.   Trans brake allowed----with Trans shield.

16.   Motor does not have to match frames or bodies.

17.   Fire Extinguisher (Mandatory)

18.   Speed Pit 18” or less (100 ft to 150 ft).

19.   A rigid rear pull out ring is mandatory.

20.   A minimum of 2 drive shaft loop per shaft.

21.   No NOS.

 

Super Stock Class ---Deep Pit

9.       Aftermarket roller cams are OK.

10.   Soft-top vehicles must have roll bars preferable roll cage

11.   Suspension factory type lift kits and traction bars are OK must be non-adjustable.

12.   Must make an attempt  to make 1st pass.

13.   Must have 4 point seatbelt and helmets.

14.   Aftermarket fuel cell can be mounted in rear.

1.       Absolutely nothing to do with nitrous this means no lines, plates or bracket to hold.

2.       No aftermarket fuel injection, factory fuel injection only.

3.       Upward or Downward headers only.

4.       Aluminum intakes and heads OK.

5.       Aftermarket cams roller OK.

6.       Aftermarket carburetor.

7.       All vehicles must have roll cage.

8.       Must have firewall and floor pan.

9.       Skinned body is OK.

10.   Driver can seat anywhere (behind motor).

11.   Any body metal or fiberglass.

12.   Tires do not have to match fender openings.

13.   Any type running gear stock or military.

14.   Lateral bars allowed.

15.   Tube frame and 4 link OK.

16.   Chain drive OK.

17.   Trans-brake allowed with Trans shield.

18.   Fire Extinguisher (Mandatory)

19.   Must have racing seat and 4 point harness.

20.   Must have racing fuel cell.

21.   Cut or uncut DOT tires.

22.   A minimum 2 drive shaft loop per shaft.

23.   Full fire suit (Mandatory)

24.   Kill switch in rear.

25.   A rigid pull ring in rear is required.

26.   Motor can be mounted anywhere in front of the driver.
